Description:
Mr. Hambelton's practice has for 25 years focused on the litigation
of civil matters in the Massachusetts State and Federal Courts. Mr. Hambelton
has successfully tried approximately 200 cases to a conclusion, most
of them jury trials. His areas of concentration are personal injury,
including wrongful death, dramshop liability, traumatic brain injury
and products liability cases, contract and construction matters and insurance
defense. Mr. Hambelton has also had extensive experience in insurance
coverage matters and bad faith claims. He has also appeared several times
before the Massachusetts and First Circuit Appellate Courts.
Mr. Hambelton's successful trials have included the defense of a Swiss textile printing machine manufacturer in two Federal Court product liability case, the defense of a restaurant in a double wrongful death liquor liability case, the defense of a nightclub in a traumatic brain injury case, the defense of a school for emotionally disturbed adolescents in a sexual abuse case, The defense of a major utility in a nuclear power plant construction accident case and the defense of an automotive jack manufacturer and distributor in a paraplegia case.
