Audit Division

Daniel P. Gibson and Christopher P. Cifra are co-directors of Gibson & Behman, P.C.’s Audit division.  This Division has provided audit services to both foreign and domestic insurers, re-insurers and excess insurers in both the liability and workers' compensation arenas.  The audits have been both far-reaching and narrow in focus and have included such topics as the adequacy of reserves, settlement potential of cases, excess exposures, subrogation possibilities, and claims file handling, to name a few.  The audits have also focused on portfolio transfer.  These audits have been for jurisdictions all over the country and have included audits in such states as California, Florida, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey.  The audit team has also focused on international matters which have included the countries of England, Brazil, Germany and France, amongst others.  Gibson & Behman, P.C. has an audit team that is capable of performing anything from week-long audits to single day audits.
